Join our friends at BPRB for a Sunday ride!

From the organizer:

Were you looking forward to jumping on your bike for a nice Sunday ride and burn some calories? Well, we have the ride for you.

Rideout will be at 2:00 pm please arrive on time we don't want to leave anyone behind. The ride will be at least 10 miles or more within Baltimore City to get cyclists more familiar with all the joys of cycling and increasing your endurance as we build a community of black cyclists.

This ride will be for intermediate cyclists but all levels of cyclist are welcome. There will be some rolling hills and plenty of scenery. Please be sure to wear a helmet and bring a lock for your bike. Ride assistance will be available throughout the ride.

Suggested Items to bring and proper maintenance

  • Please be sure to get those bikes tuned up if its been a while

  • Snacks and plenty of water

  • Although not required a cyclist should start to prepare a go bag of things that will help in case of an emergency such as a multi-tool, intertube, handlepump, bike lights, CO2 Canister, hand pump.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Kids and teens below 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be street parking available around St. Mary’s Park. If you would like to ride to the park feel free to do so.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A ticket on your phone will be ok. Tickets are used so we know how many riders to expect.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Not a big deal however, we prefer that the name matches the cyclist.
