CycloFemme is a socially-driven grass-roots celebration of women on bikes. Occurring in cities around the world, the annual Mother’s Day ride unites riders, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or bicycle preference to share in the joy of cycling.
Join the women of Bikemore for a Sunday Fun Day ride celebrating all that is great about being a woman who rides in Baltimore!
We will meet at the Washington Monument, in the west side of the park near the fountain and depart at 11am. This ride will be a casual 13 miles (roundtrip) up to Cylburn Arboretum for lunch, with a rest stop/bathroom break in Druid Hill Park. Bring lunch and/or snacks for the Arboretum and we'll spend some time hanging out and exploring the grounds. We should be back at the Washington Monument by 2:30.
Things to bring:
- Water (you will be able to refill bottles at the Arboretum)
- A spare tube (don't worry...someone will know how to change a flat!)
- Picnic Supplies
This is a no-drop ride and is open to all who identify as a woman, and who ride all types of bikes.
Cue Sheets will be posted later and will also be handed out at the ride.
