Bikemore in Action 2026 Endorsements for Maryland General Assembly

Bikemore in Action’s #IBikeIVote2026 endorsements for the Maryland General Assembly!

  • Senator Cory McCray, District 45

  • Delegate Regina T. Boyce, District 43A

  • Delegate Mark Edelson, District 46

  • Delegate Elizabeth Embry, District 43A

  • Delegate Robbyn Lewis District 46

  • Malcolm Ruff, District 41 Senate

  • Dianté Edwards, District 40 Delegate

The Incumbents:

Senator McCray and Delegates Boyce, Edelson, Embry, and Lewis have reliable voting records on legislation that directly improves transportation in Baltimore.

They consistently vote to increase funding for @mtamaryland and maintain increased Highway User Revenues to fund critical @bmorecitydot projects.

They passed the Sarah Debbink Langenkamp Act to protect cyclists in bike lanes and have sponsored legislation to improve bus lane enforcement and to move toward a comparative negligence standard for vulnerable road users.

They champion the Transportation and Climate Alignment Act—sponsored by Delegate Edelson—which would mandate the state offset the negative effects of major highway expansions by funding offsets like transit, pedestrian, and bike projects.

The Challengers:

Our challengers offer strong platforms that align with Bikemore's vision for a connected, safe Baltimore.

As a Delegate, Malcolm Ruff sponsored legislation creating a state-city partnership to preserve and elevate Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. His focus on environmental justice and expanding public green spaces directly supports the expansion of trail networks and active transportation infrastructure that Bikemore fights for.

Dianté Edwards has a hands-on record of bringing Complete Streets to life. As head of his neighborhood association in Pigtown, he worked to install speed humps and traffic calming measures. His platform explicitly targets MTA reform, demanding safe and reliable public transit so Baltimore's students aren't forced to wait for unreliable buses in the dark.

Baltimore needs lawmakers who vote to fund the infrastructure our city actually relies on. Early voting starts June 11th. The Primary Election is June 23rd. Go vote.
