What to Expect from the Outer Space Bike Party

What to Expect from the Outer Space Bike Party

The September Baltimore Bike Party is just one day away, and from the group's latest blog post, we finally have a good idea of what to expect. For starters, there will be no stopping at red lights. That's right, you can exhale now.

While you're re-composing yourself, make sure you head over to the Bike Party website and read the 411 on the September ride before you go out there tomorrow. Heavy Seas will be in the mix at the after party, so you don't want to miss it!

Clipper Mill and Falls Road comprise a popular route for cyclists, but there's currently some debris on the roadway that is hazardous to cyclists. We made a lot of progress last month, but there is much work still to do! You might even get to climb a Front-End Loader!

On September 28, help clear debris from Clipper Mill and Falls Roads between Ash Street and the Jones Falls Trail switchback (and possibly further south if we have enough time). The City will have two trucks to help us out, but we need volunteers to help cut back vines and brush, and load same onto said trucks!
