Bike Party!

Join us at March's Bike Party on Friday the 29th. The theme this month is Superheroes and Supervillains, so lace up your boots, strap on your cape, and join us at the Washington Monument in Mt. Vernon at 7:00pm. This month, the ride will be ending at Mother's in Federal Hill for food, drink specials, DJs, dancing, and the totally rad photo booth.

Baltimore Bike Party is a leisurely group ride through the streets of our city--celebrating bikes, Baltimore, and all things fun. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome--just be sure to bring a spare tube for your bike!

Baltimore Bike Party Honors Baltimore Ravens

Unfettered by the brutal combination of cold weather and rain, our partners at the Baltimore Bike Party took to the streets on Friday to honor our Super Bowl champion Ravens.  The Party rode through various neighborhoods throughout Baltimore before finally ending at its Little Havana after party. Helmets are Good; Helmet Laws are Bad!

Mandatory helmet laws cause fewer people to bicycle, and when fewer people bicycle, cycling becomes less safe. So much less safe, in fact, that decreased ridership increases the individual cyclist’s risk of injury more than wearing a helmet decreases risk of injury.
