Here's the 411 on the July Bike Party

Baltimore Bike Party Moonlight Madness For July, the Baltimore Bike Party folks want you to get lit up! Fit as many lights as you can on your bike and your person and make Baltimore shine. Here's the word, straight from the Facebook event:

Moonlight Madness was originally an annual ride started by Bob Moore, who was instrumental in bring trails, bike lanes, and safe legislation to Baltimore. Sadly, Bob has passed but with help of Baltimore Bicycle Club and Bike Party's adoption, the ride has lived on and is bigger than ever!

Spread smiles, cheers, laughs, and high fives, just the way it should be, as we ride through the streets of our awesome city and finish in Wyman Park Dell for another great after party! Expect food trucks, Heavy Seas ales, DJ Ro, and maybe some other surprises!

Mark your calendar for Friday, July 26, and make sure you RSVP on Facebook.

Don't Miss Bikeadelic

Introducing Baltimore Cycling 101

Photo Credit: Liam Quigley Cross posted from Bikemore's new, Baltimore Cycling 101 section:

There are a lot of skills that are nearly essential for cyclists riding in the city. Selecting the right bike lights, properly locking your bike so it isn’t stolen, and having the confidence to ride in traffic are just a few. Bikemore is working on putting together how to guides bringing to light many of these skills. Our library is currently small, but it will grow over time.

Our first entry is all about wearing cycling clothes fit for the city that won't make you look like a spandex devotee. Check out the first entry, titled "High-Performance,Everyday Cycling Clothes," now.
