Now this is cool! Johns Hopkins has installed an on-campus bike repair stand at the intersection of Monument and Washington. It contains all the goodies you need to fix a mechanical issue on your bike and get back on the road -- a multi-tool, tire levers, a pump, and more. Full specs can be found here.
Check it out next time you're in the area. Hopefully more of these pop up around the city!
In a fairly unscientific meta-analysis, Slate this week ranks Baltimore drivers as the 5th worst in the United States. Take a gander:
No. 5: Baltimore. Baltimoreans just can’t keep from running into each other. They were outside the top 10 in fatalities, DWI deaths, and pedestrian strikes, but their rate of collision couldn’t keep them out of the top five overall.

Join Bikemore for the Loch Raven Ride and BBQ. on Saturday, August 17. We will enjoy a leisurely group ride to Loch Raven where we will enjoy the car-free roads around the lake. Afterwards, we will have BBQ food at a home off of Providence Road.

Here is a video of the updated St. Paul. St bike lane. Previously, the bike lane narrowed to about 1-2 feet on this block -- you can still see the outline of the previous lane marking.
